Hands covered in purifying fire
Skin blistering, bubbling, boiling; sloughing and dripping off
Exposing the bare muscle beneath.
Bones shine through;
Clean, like a blank slate. Free of their coverings.

Maikang Bah… announcing that a poem is just too lengthy is like announcing it has too among the letter I in it. It’s particularly extra a case of whether or not or no longer all of the materials participate in vital services. In this poem, there are probably 2 transitional stanzas (those with the phrase ‘nonetheless’ in them) that are not doing a complete lot. But I would not say it is a giant deal. Overall, this poem is highly good-written for a 13-yr-historical. Hell, it is highly good-written for the Internet. =P Please preserve writing. You have plenty of promise, and your poetry is handiest going to get bigger.
