Me and my girflriend recent moved 1700 miles apart from each other. We have a super healthy relationship and we barely ever fight. I love her more than I love anybody else. She’s been having nightmares a lot lately. So have I. I recently asked a question about one of MY dreams. But tonight she told me about one of hers and as soon as she told me, I broke down. She said this.
“My back was facskin analyzer manufacturersing your stomach, holding me with one arm, tracing lines across my skin with the other. nothing out of the ordinary. then there is sharp pains, look back, and your fingers seem to have done the equivalent of a blade or a drill. deep holes right in my upper back. the look on your face says you didn’t mean it, you looked as scared as i did.”
This is my biggest fear. I never want to hurt anybody. Especially unintentionally. Especially her. Does this dream mean I’m going to hurt her? Please help me.

Maikang I agree with the others. It is definitely related to being apart from each other and the stress of possibly worrying about losing each other!

Not long after I met my wife, I had to travel back to my home country thousands of miles away. We stayed in touch via LDR on the computer for many months. During that time, I used to have all kinds of strange dreams about her. THe most harrowing was the risk of losing her: it was a moonlit night and we were standing on a bridge in her hometown. We kissed (actually we hadn’t in real life at that point..) and she started to pull away. I pulled her back. She breifly kissed me again and then said she was sorry and had to go back to her family and leave me. She turned, walked away and disappeared into the blacknes.

Well, actually I came back to live with her and things have worked out just fine. We visited a small park in her hometown just days before our marriage that looked eerily similar to the place in the dream two years ago. It was even a full moon. We held each other and sat there for a couple of hours looking over the water and enjoying the peacefulness. A few days later, we enjoyed a traditional Chinese wedding. It didn’t end with her running away on me 😛

So, sometimes dreams are just a reflection of our conscious/subconscious feelings and a reaction to the stressors in our everyday life. You dream of situations that bring to your attention things that need to be addressed and possibly changed in your waking life.

Maikang I don’t think the dream means you’re going to hurt her. I kind of think maybe the dream means something about moving apart. Yes, I’m sure you guys have a very healthy relationship, but maybe the moving is causing the nightmares or just stress.skin analyzer

I used to have nightmares about me being trapped in a place, and it all applied to a real life situation.

To dream that you are in pain suggests you are being too hard on yourself about a situation that was out of your control.

Maikang My thought is that she has the fear of losing you because she’s so far away. The dream tells me that she’s afraid of you hurting her, cheating, breaking up with her, whatever.
