I really like pastel colors but every time I search if those colors are alright to wear even though I have a golden-beige skin tone, bunch of articles tell me no. Is there any pastel colors out there that’s okay to wear? Can I ever wear them? My lack of knowledge in dressing up and colors restricts me so much….

Is there any pastel colors out there that’s okay to wear? Can I ever wear them? My lack of knowledge in dressing up and colors restricts me so much. Also, what kind of colors do I have to look for for my skin tone? Do I have to look for darker colors? You might say, “choose earth colors”, but I need more than that. Maikang You will have to nail down your skin tone first by checking your veins to see if you are a cool tone, warm tone, or a neutral tone. It is not always easy, I’m Asian, and for the longest time I thought I was a Deep Winter. But, after going through my closet and taking dozens of photos of my face with colors draped around my neck in different lighting, it became quite clear, I am a Deep Autumn. Colors like Lapis Blue gave my face and skin a greenish-bluish hue. I looked like I was under the weather, and my eyes looked as though I had bags underneath. Pastel lilac made my face get a very whitish appearance and the color was gone from my face. This also happened with Pale blue based baby pinks and pale pastel blue. The telling color which clarified it all for me was pure white versus ivory. I took two shots, one in natural light, and two in my bathroom with bright lighting. The comparison was there. I was more healthy looking with the off white/ivory fleece than my pure white towel. I had a greenish-bluish tinge with the white towel. The other color was the kelly green versus the lapis blue. The green warmed my face with a nice glow. I could recognize how much the pastel lilac shirt made me look terrible when I wore it under the green cardigan. When I removed the pastel lilac t-shirt, and just wore the green cardigan, the photo shot was completely different. My face looked like a pale washed out zombie with it under the green cardigan. The green cardigan alone, I was a picture of health with color in my face. So if you try pastels, you will need to stick to color shades that work for your skin. For me, since I am a Deep Autumn, it is much more difficult to pull off a pastel shade and have it look good with my dark hair and dark eyes. I find that vibrant colors and jewel tones make me look my best. If I wanted to experiment with pastel colors, I would have to stick to lighter shades in my color palette.skin analyzer

Maikang Try some fall colors on but in different styles. He style of something may make the color uncomplimentry. But if its extremely impossible to find fall colors that work for you, you can wear the more pastel colors, of course! You dont have to follow trends.skin analyzer

Maikang Well I possess been coloring my hair blonde with regard to a long time now. It’s certainly not black but a dark brown. The particular main reason I do this will be to hide the gray hairs that my kids are starting to provide me. I trying to hide the age.skin analyzer

Maikang I have brown tresses and I have Blonde highlights. Perhaps you should try lighter blonde, that might look better than brown, brown just looks kind of trashy.skin analyzer
