Worst customer service ever!!!!!!!! Couldn’t confirm my appt on Saturday for today’s appt because I had a question about a med I took. Called this morning to verify and they said they can’t so the treatment and want to charge me 50% to reschedule.
Are they for real??? This is how a return customer is treated??? Also tried to tell me I canceled an appt back in June. This NEVER happened. I have not canceled or rescheduled before. Need to wait in a queue to speak with a manager. Last time I had an issue I needed to leave 3 messages for one and took 5 days for them to call me back.
BEWARE – find a different center. You DO NOT want to deal with these people. This is the first bad review I ever wrote. This is ridiculous!!!!

I don’t know why I’ve been driving here all the way from Studio City. I guess it was for one nurse. Nevertheless, if you can avoid it- DO so. If you’re late for 5 min the cancel your appointment. They change your nurse without letting you know- I know they say they don’t guarantee the nurse you made appointment with- what the hell?! I am paying for services and I should be able to choose who I want and at least have the curtesy to call and let your customers know that nurse they chose was not there or whatever happened.
I must say ladies in the front were very apologetic and nice.
So called “supervisor” couldn’t do service recovery. I know the prices are decent here but even offering like some 10% discount or some perk can take care of YOUR customers.
Well, I don’t need to go on and on about this place. Mediocre 3 star rating speaks for itself. Do yourself a favor- find some other decent laser place.

Full laser treatment. The appointments are easy to make online or over the phone. All staff members are friendly and make the experience comfortable. The appointments are always very quick and efficient with minimal pain. I have had a positive experience with results that met my expectations.

Really really wish this place was cheaper with their tattoo removal deals! Customer service is pretty good, thought they would have snobby receptionists like their other locations but nope! Sweet girls! I went in for a consultation with one of the nurses and I wish I could remember her name cause she really made me wanna go back to that location. Very nice and let me know everything that I needed to know about the procedure, before AND after, let me know how much I would be paying and everything. I could say they were cheaper than one other place I went to but because of Groupon i found another place.

I hate this place. I really do. It’s such a hassle to get an appointment. You can’t hear anything the operator’s on the phone say. They practically whisper during the phone call. They don’t annunciate. They don’t hold the phone close to their mouths so that they can be heard.  It’s like talking to an angry teenager.

Went in for spider vein removal on my nose with Bianca.  One side of my nose is completely scarred with pock marks now and is permanently red.  It looks terrible. I am so fucking pissed.

They have wasted soooooooooooooooo much of my time.  There is ZERO EFFICIENCY in this office. No one communicates. No one ever knows where the PA is.

When I realized Bianca botched my vein removal I called and wanted to come in for someone to look at my nose.  So the idiot teenagers who answer the phones at the call center told me to go to Glendale instead of Encino.  I had asked to see a physician’s assistant, but when I arrived in Glendale I was seen by an aesthetician??!??? who then listened to my problems and gave me some run-of-the-mill answer that was utterly generic and did NOTHING to address my concerns. You could tell it was a rehearsed response that she’s probably given to thousands of customers.

The idiot aesthetician then told me to wait in the lobby for the physician’s assistant. I waited 40 minutes no one even looked up from their computer…and it wasn’t busy at that time.  I was the only one sitting there aside from 1 family with screaming kid.

After realizing no one cares that I’m sitting there, I walked to the front desk and asked how much longer it would take to see the PA.  They look at me like I’m speaking Nigerian….They tell me “Oh gosh, who sent you here???!  Why did they send you to Glendale??? There’s no PA in Glendale today, she’s in Encino.”

So I drive from Glendale to Encino to see the PA.  I had the glendale front desk call ahead and let them know I would be there 10 minutes before her lunch break starts and not to let her leave.  I get there 10 minutes before her lunch break and she’s already on her lunch break according to the front desk (who incidentally didn’t actually stand up and go look for her, they just called her office).

So….now I wait through the PA’s lunch break.  When she arrives back in the office, no one from the front desk notifies me that she’s now here and can see me.  I wait another 20 minutes.  Again, I see a pattern so I stand up and ask them to call her.  They call her and she’s been sitting there waiting for the front desk to notify her the entire time… and I’ve been sitting pretty much all day in both the Glendale and Encino offices for someone to just take a peak at my GOD AWFUL results and give me a modicum of reassurance.

The PA listens to my concerns, takes a pic of my nose (with my cell phone) and asks me to send it to her via email.  Then tells me, “I think it might heal ok, just put some neosporin on it.”

My nose didn’t heal.  It still looks like shit. I am so fucking pissed.

I call today and speak with a brain dead operator who AGAIN, does not speak in a clear voice, does not hold the phone close to her mouth, does not speak louder when I continually tell her that I can’t hear or understand anything she’s saying.  It feels to me as if every time I call I’m talking to someone who has ZERO customer service and/or phone answering skills.  It’s similar to when you call tech support for a computer problem and you get someone name “Georgette” from India on the line that cuts in and out constantly.

Today a manager is supposed to call me back even though the PA sent the manager my nose pics weeks ago.  I’ve spoken to a manager here before.  It was a dreadful experience.  When I first came in a year ago for sunspot removal, they had to cancel my appt due to the person being on vacation.  No problem.  Just please call me ahead of time and let me know….

Instead I get a phone message that’s completely garbled and unintelligible.  It literally sounded like 3 minutes of pure static noise with little spaces of clarity in between.

When I arrived they tell me that my appt was cancelled. So I ask, why wasn’t I notified ahead of time I just drove 45 minutes!!?  The front desk says oh someone called and left you a message.  I said Oh you mean this message that is unintelligible (and i proceeded to play it for them so that they could see I was not exaggerating).  Ohhhhhh gosh sorry. We’ll have a manager call you.

The manager that called me was a travesty.  Absolute train wreck to talk to.  She made sure she constantly said, “oh i’m so sorry” and “please” and “thank you” over and over again but she was SO insincere.  It’s almost as if she couldn’t wait to get off the phone with me. Her subtext during the entire conversation was “ZZZzzzzzzzz”. she sounded so bored, insincere and uninspired.

Nonetheless, she asked me to email her the voice message that was unintelligible.  So I emailed it to her and never heard from her again.

First time getting laser and I’m so happy I chose new look skin center. Friendly, walked me through everything, the PA that did a consultation with me was profession as was the nurse who did my procedure. Definitely coming back for my next session. Side note – I didn’t use the numbing cream so the pain was like 5-6. Not bad at all 🙂

I started getting my treatments here and it was going fine but I found a nurse I really liked and I tried requesting her for my subsequent appointments.

Every single time the girl at the front would say I can get an appointment with her (because I made sure to book them when she was working). And EVERY single time i would get a phone call about 3-4 hours before my appointment on the day of saying that she was sick that day, that she was out of the office, that she was on vacation, etc etc.

I can see how this would happen once or twice but not 6 times.

And I got almost the exact same message every time saying how the nurse I requested was out but there was another qualified nurse who can take me…then they’d ask if I want to keep my appointment.

I would have appreciated if they were just straight up about who I can get an appointment with.

My experience in general was really good about hair laser removal. I definitely got result. I got Groupon for 6 treatments and im done at 3rd because my hair doesn’t grow anymore. I wish I could use it for somewhere else. I would definitely recommend to anyone since the result was real and they do have a really clean area with helpful staff and nurses. Since they are super busy I would definitely advise to book an appointment and go there.

WARNING PLEASE READ.
My first experience and scariest with filler. DO NOT COME HERE!

I came here and the girls at the front desk aren’t too friendly or very helpful. They speak in their naive language and just giggle and whisper as people enter.

The nurse Robin did my filler and my lips looked so scary for over 3 weeks. She hit a vein and caused skin damage.

I spoke to the manager Joanna or Johanna and they asked me to come in. The nurse said it’s fine it will go away. It DIDNT! I called again, this time they hit it with a laser and gave me hydroquinone. She made sure to tell
Me it’s usually 30 dollars & made it sound like she was doing me a favor. Guess what? It went from a dark brown patch to a red patch. They didn’t fix the problem.

I wasn’t refunded and the issues was not fixed.

Horrible management and they don’t leave voicemails or reply to emails. They call because they know how shady they’re being.

Anyways… even one of the workers told me not to get laser hair removal here because it’s like a “puppy mill”. This place is a joke!

I’ve been a loyal New Look Skin Center customer for about 5 years now. I’ve never had a major issue with anything or anyone there. I’ve had a few bad sessions where some of the ladies don’t treat the area well and I still have lots of hair by the end of the session. Anyway, last week on Friday I had a 10:30am Appt. My drive to New Look Skin Center without traffic would be a 45 min drive. I leave my house 2 hours prior to my Appt in case of traffic etc. I happen to arrive 15 min late because there was an accidents on the fwy, but I called to let them know and they said it was fine. Once I get there, they tell me they will try to squeeze me in. I said that was fine as I’ve never had any issues with them squeezing me in for a literally 5 minute session. I waited and waited and waited.  One of the girls working the front desk tells me they are extremely busy and cannot get me in. She tell me that they have a 12:45 opening. I decide to wait as I’ve already waited close to an hour. I sit there for 2 hrs and 15 min (by this time it’s 15 min past my new Appt time. I ask her how much longer do I have to wait, she tell me I should be called soon. All of a sudden they tell me I need to fill out the forms again…. are you f’ing kidding me?! I’ve been sitting here for 2 1/2 hours twiddling my thumbs and you now decide to tell me that I have to fill out those forms and see the stupid nurse practitioner or whomever that person is? I was livid, but I tried to keep my cool. I was desperate for my treatment. Anyway, they needed a Dr.’s Release form, which they already had from 5 years prior. 3 hrs later I’m leaving the facility without my treatment. All I got was I’m sorry it was miscommunication! Wtf?! Seriously?! They needed my Dr’s fax number so I gave it. They “faxed” the copies that day. Monday comes along and my Dr’s office hadn’t revived them, they “fax” again, still nothing. I call again everything is being “faxed” again I ask a question,  and the girl ends up hanging up on me after she didn’t send the forms to my Dr or to me. I decided enough is enough. Clearly this place only cares about the customers that spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars and not the loyal ones. I’m done with NLSC! The way they treated me was very unprofessional and rude. They can be late 10, 15, 20, and yes even 30 minutes, but if you’re late even 3 min, that’s it you have to wait and wait and wait. Totally unfair!! Yes their prices are reasonable, but there are other affordable places as well.

I’m a happy customer of New Look. I have been coming here for laser hair removal for over a year now. It’s a nice facility which is surprising for how low the prices are. The rooms are very clean and upscale, the nurses are nice, and they have aloe Vera and sunscreen to apply after the session.
Pros: cheap, clean, nice place
Cons: almost every time I go they are running late and I am not in the room till until about  20 min after my appointment time. Also, I find it weird that they don’t have a PA/MD in office and that you meet with the PA over Skype.

I’ve been a customer here for almost 2 years and the front desk staff is probably the most rude and disgusting I’ve ever encountered. Not once in all my years of being a customer here have I been late, and today I just happened to be about 13 minutes late and they made me wait over 30 min to take me in while taking everyone that walked in after me. I have no problem waiting however, I always have to wait when I’m on time as well so what’s the point ?

Very disappointed!! Not recommended at all! They will call you all day long with appointment confirmation  for you not to miss it so they want loss $$ I do understand it, but!! If they need to reschedule your appointment at the last min’ it’s ok!!! If it was me that reschedule the charge you! I’m still waiting on them to call me apparently they still didn’t, my time doesn’t count, I believe they do care for skin but they don’t care for customers. Do not rely on appointment that you have with them. Very bad customer service!

Still after three weeks nobody call nobody approach nobody care for your time they really don’t need customers!!!
It’s so bad that you don’t care for your clients time.
I’m so thankful I find another location that are more loyal to the customers, customer service and results are amazing- highly recommend South Coast Medspa!!
